The team at Riverpoint Builders has together built over 210 homes ranging in price from $50,000 to $650,000. They have built over 320 detached garages, several commercial buildings and numerous home improvement projects. Job sites have been in Gloucester, Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, Smithfield, Carrollton, Surry, Windsor, Yorktown and Williamsburg. They also have built condominiums in Smithfield. Riverpoint Builders is an approved VA and FHA builder as well as an approved builder with all local banks and lending institutions.



OWNER Dennis P.W. Nichols was raised in Hampton, Virginia and now resides in Carrollton, Virginia. He has been involved with home building for over 25 years. He is involved with all aspects of the company, which includes the design of homes, drawing of the plans, job estimates and the building of the homes. He is a “ hands on builder” and stays involved throughout the entire building phases. He has also been directly involved with land acquisitions, developing of lots and the supervision of all work.


OWNER Donna M. Harrah was born in Newport News, Virginia and has resided in Carrollton, Virginia for over 30 years. She has been involved with all aspects of building, land acquisitions and development of sites for over 33 years. She has developed 225 lots, which includes purchasing the land, securing all approvals from municipalities, hiring contractors for site work and overseeing the work. She purchased the major stock of M.C. Peters Cabinet Shop in 1984 and continues to manage and oversee all operations of this company in addition to her duties as a builder and developer.
